Beach Run Clubs in Los Angeles
28 clubs, 51 weekly runs
If you picture running in LA, you probably picture the beach. These clubs run the coast, from Santa Monica and Venice down the Strand through the South Bay to Long Beach.
Beach routes are flat, easy to follow and beautiful at sunrise and sunset, which makes them a good first run club for new runners. The bike path is shared, so groups usually run on the pedestrian side and keep it single file when it gets busy.

Common questions
Where do beach run clubs in LA meet?
Most meet near the Santa Monica Pier, on the Venice boardwalk, in Marina del Rey, along the Strand in Manhattan, Hermosa and Redondo Beach, or on the Long Beach shoreline. Each club page has the exact meeting point and a map.
Can I run on the beach bike path?
Yes, but it is shared with cyclists. Stay to the side, look before you cross and follow the group lead. Some sections have a separate pedestrian walkway.
