Runyon Canyon's main loop is roughly 3.3 miles and climbs over 800 feet, making it a legitimate hill workout disguised as a scenic jog. The Fuller Avenue entrance at the bottom is the most popular starting point, with the Mulholland Drive entrance offering a top-down alternative. Beyond Runyon, the residential streets between Hollywood Blvd and Franklin Ave provide gently rolling terrain perfect for easy runs or cooldown miles. Lake Hollywood, a 3.3-mile paved loop near the reservoir, gives a quieter option with clear views of the Hollywood Sign. Running clubs in the area typically meet at Runyon Canyon's lower gate, at the Hollywood and Highland complex, or near the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. Street parking is available on Fuller and Vista, but arrive early on weekends.
