Valley Run Clubs: Woodland Hills to Glendale
23 clubs · 3 neighborhoods · 31 weekly runs ·
The Valley runs flat and early. Lake Balboa and the Sepulveda Basin give the San Fernando Valley miles of car-free paths, North Hollywood has become a weeknight social-run hub, and Glendale and Burbank add Verdugo Mountains fire roads for anyone who wants a climb.
Anthony C. Beilenson Park at Lake Balboa is the Valley's meeting point: a 1.3-mile gravel loop that connects to the wider Sepulveda Basin and the Metro G Line path for long, uninterrupted straightaways. The east Valley is more social, with NoHo Arts District crews staging from breweries and cafes along Lankershim and the Woodland Hills groups doing the same out west. Brand Park and Deukmejian Wilderness Park in Glendale open onto the Verdugo range, and the Chandler Bikeway and Wildwood Canyon in Burbank sit a few minutes away; Burbank runners are listed with the San Fernando Valley and Glendale clubs until a Burbank crew joins. Summers are hot, so nearly every Valley club runs at sunrise or after sundown.
